Hoogii Monthly — Laying the foundations

What’s been done

• On January 15th, 2023, Hoogii officially launched on mainnet, introducing a range of features including block farmed activity, support for Stably Ramp, network switching capability, default token setting, and the ability to add memos with transactions. Hoogii’s launch aims to cater to the diverse interests of the Chia community and marks an important milestone in its development.
• Hoogii has published its FAQ page that covers a wide range of topics including how to download, features, open-source GitHub link, troubleshooting guideline, and more.

• Farming rewards are now displayed within the wallet as block farmed activity. When you successfully farm a block, you can check all the details including, most importantly, how much rewards you have farmed.

Your farming rewards will be displayed in Activity. You can click the expand arrow to view details.

• Hoogii wallet now supports Stably Ramp, allowing you to buy $USDS directly within the wallet. Click Buy USDS and follow the step-by-step process on the directed page. For a concise and well-tailored explanation, you can check out Stably Ramp’s FAQ page. (Please be noted that this feature is currently available in the US via ACH.)

• There’s now an option for hodlers to add a memo to each transaction! When you are carrying out a transaction, you can adhere a memo to the transaction to remind both the sender and the recipient.

Given the public nature of blockchain, please be careful not to disclose too much private information.

• Hoogii has also released other features such as network switching and default tokens. Users are now able to switch between Mainnet and Testnet. Hoogii now displays a set of default tokens in Asset as shown in the picture below (bottom right).

What’s in progress

• We are currently in the process of developing dApp integration and offer, but you can still explore the functionalities by referring to our developer documentations. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to us if you have any inquiries or if you are building a dApp and wish to connect with Hoogii.

To-Do

• As previously mentioned in our article, NFT is on our plan’s backlog and a critical feature for the community. Once dApp integration is completed, our team will begin developing NFT offers and displays.
